Summary:
Windows 7 is a re-working of Windows Vista®. We expect more demands to be placed on your hardware and network. Check your configurations carefully especially if you are part of a large network. You could be in for a bit of work to get your system ready, even for computers running Windows Vista® and X - even on relatively new systems.

Your existing Internet Security 2010 version software should work just fine. (Norton & CA versions we tested worked fine after the free upgrade to their 2010 versions. Should you acquire Windows 7, check in advance for a special upgrade with your security software vendor.
We will report back on any new findings once we have tested more applications.

Advice:
Check to make sure your Antivirus, Internet Security or Advanced software is compatible with Windows 7. Take a look at the listing provided by Microsoft. One of the reasons to check is most 2009 versions did not have the benefit of testing in advance, since there has been some changes to the security provided with the operating system.
Many network versions for small and large business operations are not declaring compatibility, yet. Though as the number of workstations grow with Windows 7, we expect all network versions to be available.
