Norton Recovery tool

Purpose:

Sometimes, despite our best efforts viruses or trojans can sneak in. Many times, it is the result of an unknown USB drive, a SIM card, DVD or even an email from a trusted friend.
Fortunately, there is the Norton Recovery tool.

What can i do?
1.- For example in Windows Email in Vista (most browsers have similar settings), you can set the protection level by clicking on Tools> Options >Security > Click on "Restricted site zone" to turn it on, then check mark "Warn me.." and "Do not allow.." Then "Block other images.."

2.- Downloading the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool for Norton Internet Security Norton Bootable Recovery Tool is available for download as an ISO file. An ISO file is a complete "image file" of a CD-ROM. To use it, you first need to burn it to a CD.

3.- Burn the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool ISO file to a CD, you need the following: a.- One blank CD-R disc (Do not use a CD-RW disc). b.- Download Norton Bootable Recovery Tool ISO file.
c.- Use a CD creation program that is capable of burning, such as Nero Burning ROM or Roxio Creator 2012

If your PC is infected, we recommend that you download and burn the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool CD on a second PC that is not infected. The estimated download time is determined by your type of Internet connection. You can follow the instructions as presented for Norton security programs only. All the best.
